History

Company History

1961 August The predecessor of TOPPAN TRAVEL SERVICE CORPORATION, Kunio Travel Bureau, was founded at Shiba Park Hotel, 6 Shibakoen, Minato-ku, Tokyo with a capital of 7 million yen.
December License Number 51 issued by the Transportation Ministry of Japan (currently the Japan Tourism Agency) in accordance with the provisions of Travel Agency Law was granted.
1973 January The company's head quarters was relocated to 1-6-19 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
August A capital alliance was formed with Toppan Printing Co. enabling an increase in capital to 15 million yen, and the company name changed to Kunio Toppan Travel Corp.
1975 March The capital was increased to 70 million yen.
1978 March The company was renamed "TOPPAN TRAVEL SERVICE CORPORATION".
1984 April The company head quarters absorbed with the Ginza branch, and relocated to Toppan Yaesu Bldg., 2-2-7 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
1988 September OSAKA BRANCH established.
1996 March Achieved gross sales of 10 billion Yen.
April The company head quarters was relocated to 2-6-2 Hamamatsu Cho, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
2000 June KOISHIKAWA BRANCH established.
September NAGOYA BRANCH established.
2005 March Achieved gross sales of 20 billion Yen.
